What led you to become a real estate agent?

What led you to start investing in real estate

I was a loan officer first. I had two clients that I referred to local realtors that asked me if I could help them through the process as they felt more comfortable with me. That sparked the light bulb.

What challenges did you face at the beginning of your real estate career?

Getting people to feel comfortable working with me due to my age and experience.

 

What helped you to overcome those challenges?

Lots of time and experience.

 

What was the most stressful challenge you had to overcome during your career?

Surviving the downturn in the late 2000s into the early decade of 2010 to 2020.

Figuring out where my skills were best suited which I discovered after a lot of trial and error.

After losing a lot of money in investment property, I learned what to look out for and helped a lot of buyers navigate through purchasing their first home.

What has been the most rewarding part of your career?

Helping people and building friendships along the way.

Focusing on my profile and credibility online definitely helped make earning business much less difficult.

Keep at it. Don’t give up. Focus on getting really good at one thing first, and avoid all the shiny objects.
