What did you do before becoming a real estate agent?

I did the sales and marketing for a family meat production and retail outlets.

How did you decide to get into the industry?

The family business closed and I was looking for something that involved marketing and customer service.

Have you ever faced any challenges in your current business?

Lack of training, as a new agent I found many of the experienced agents did not want to share knowledge. Even in the same brokerage, I was treated like a competitor. I didn't like that and as soon as my experience allowed I shared it with newer agents in our company. I now also share with the ladies on my team

How many brokerages have you worked with so far?

I worked for only two.

How important do you think getting good online reviews is?

We feel it's very important since the internet is the first stop for 99% of all first contacts. We do have a feedback review system for our clients to add to our google reviews.

What were the pros and cons of each brokerage you worked with?

The first lacked training and put too much faith in a brand name. The second one and the one I'm still with a focus on training with a new brand name to the area. The culture of the company went to second and still with a focus on training, technology, and atmosphere the empower the agents.

What are the awards, professional achievements, and accomplishments you have received?

What has the proudest moment of your career been so far?

Standing in a grocery store and being recognized as Brenda K then being told that my show is very informative and they watch it every week

What technology do you use in your business process to improve your customers’ experience?

Video mail is one of my favorites, KW apps, Client Relationship Management System

How important do you think getting good online reviews is?

It is one of the most important parts of my business.

How does this factor affect your business, and what effort do you put into receiving good reviews?

First and foremost we are customer service professionals that trade real estate on behalf of our clients.

What are the primary advantages your clients get when choosing you over your competitors?

Selling your home can be very overwhelming. The time we take to educate sellers, the Home Selling Guide is given to them free of charge so at all times during the process they can refer to the guide.
It is always a win-win for our clients or no deal!
Personal service is very important - we never have clients follow us in their vehicles. I am an empty nester and have an SUV that seats 7 so I have room for families.
Real estate is about the relationship - it's a journey and we are there to navigate it for our clients
My customer service experience skills were honed in a family business where our service and products were a direct link to earning a pay check.
