Most of our challenges come because we want to be ahead of other Realtors and online companies in the area. We are always striving to plan ahead of what our competitors are doing. Online buying has changed the real estate world, however, when it comes down to it, most people still want the knowledge of an expert in the field and we provide that.
I spent nearly 8 years with one brokerage and I am three months into a new brokerage. Although I loved being with a big company with a lot to offer, I am enjoying the smaller feel of a company that is still well-known and been in business since 1906.
For me, the decision to change was due to the ability to market more professionally and streamline our day-to-day business allowing us more time to focus on our clients.

We use so many different things, it's hard to give you a full list. Social media has been a strong source for our marketing. We also have a wonderful customer service platform in which we can communicate back and forth. The technology we have available to us for marketing is also top-notch. We have a lot to choose from when it comes to marketing. It allows us to streamline processes and also connect with our clients.
Fortunately, we are a referral-based group. We have a good 'word of mouth' track record.
We do find testimonials and reviews important and we are working this year to make that more of an effort post-closing.
We offer top-notch technology and professionalism. We advertise where buyers are located. We offer more in the way of photography, staging, video, and social media.
