I owned a club on 6th street when I graduated from Crockett high school in 1973 and opened up and had a lot of famous stars play there. Then I sold it in 1978 and moved to Colorado and all I did was ski in the winter and go on stage with a lot of stars for 6 years and I was on stage with Frank Zappa and he stopped and said to me- Watch out where the huskies go and don't you eat the yellow snow and I decided to move back to Austin.
I was staying at my mom's home and she asked what am I going to do and did not have an answer.
She said to get in real estate and I passed my test in March 1986 and when I went and told her she said the market has shifted and we are going to join Gary Keller at Keller Williams Realty. and have been there since. I was the 35th person to join at that time.
Market shifts and all I do is work with Sellers! I'm an Austin 2nd generation native.
