My Bio
My partner and I have both been in real estate 20 years, we have helped hundreds of sellers and buyers in all type of situations. When I first became a Realtor I did lots of rentals. It was a great learning experience and many of the agents in my office really didn't like working rentals. I still help my past clients with rentals if they ask me, but I prefer to give them to an agent on our team.
Over the years I have helped first time home buyers, move up buyers, sellers wanting to downsize, second home buyers, investors looking to rehab and flip. A large part of our business today is working with private hedge fund and asset management clients and our database. Working on foreclosures for our asset management clients, the list is endless of what we do on any given day depending upon the circumstance.
Drive-by's to see if the property is occupied, offering CFK (cash for keys) which is another polite way to ask the occupants to move out leaving the property clean and free of any personal possessions in exchange for money to help them relocate, evictions-this is always one of the hard parts of this job, photos, overseeing rehabs...you just never know what the client is going to need on any particular property, but whatever it is, it's imperative that you respond Immediately.
I have clients I have worked with going on 11 years and its because of the service and communication we deliver. Our past clients are always wonderful to work with because they have all become friends so there is nothing that gives me more pleasure than helping my friends buy or sell
Before I became a Realtor I worked in three areas...I worked in film and television production in Los Angeles. I worked as an executive assistant to Fred Silverman who once was the head of all three of the major television networks...CBS, NBC and ABC. After about a year I started working as a talent coordinator for a TV show called 'Thicke of the Night' produced Fred Silverman. It was so much fun working with comedians like Alan Thicke, Jim Carrey, Richard Belzer, Gilbert Godfrey...the list goes on. I had two other amazing intelligent men that I worked for, one was Peter Morton, co-founder of Hard Rock Cafe. I handled his in-house public relations, assisting him in opening the Hard Rock in New Orleans, and Honolulu, as well as overseeing the other locations. Twice I worked as the Director of Public Relations for Turnberry Isle Resort and Club. Boy were they fun times. Anyone famous or wealthy seemed to come to Turnberry and it was my job to make sure their stay was always perfect.
Right before being the Director of Public Relations, I took the test to become a Realtor, I along with a dear friend of mine designed and manufactured a children's lunch box called The Ideal Box. Our children didn't like taking sandwiches to school for lunch (they were about 4 or 5 years old) so we designed a lunch box so they could take both hot and cold food..usually, chicken fingers were the hot food and cheese and crackers, applesauce, yogurt was their meal. Don't ask me how we did it...persistence for sure and believing in our product...we sold our lunchbox to both K-Mart and Walmart nationwide. It was amazing. At the same time our lunchbox was taking off, my husband and I wanted to buy a new home and sell the home we were currently living in. I decided to get my license so we can sell by owner and save the commission. Well, I fell in love with real estate. Once I took the test and passed I was hooked. I have never looked back
In the beginning, it was trying to find clients willing to work with me. That is why I was so happy to help people when they wanted to rent an apartment or a home.
Then going through the Shift when the market was hot hot hot and then almost overnight having to work with families having to do short sales on their homes. Tough times and sad times.
Now we are experiencing a new challenge...Coronavirus. Let's see what lies ahead of all of us. As I have been saying for the past few weeks...human beings are tough and resilient. We will get through this period of uncertainty stronger than ever.

Pros: they gave me a bigger split in my commission, my own office, and made me feel special.

REMAX Advanced Realty
Pros: I was super happy to hear. Loved the agents and staff. Happy environment. Met my now business partner Joel.
Cons: again can't say anything negative. If I ever decided to leave Keller Williams I would call Anthony and I am sure he would welcome me back.
eXp...it was such a short period we were there.
Keller Williams
Pros: Everything starting with the CEO Gary Keller who I have always admired for his vision. Then we have the best support staff with our OP's manager Nastascha Tello, team leader Marietta Mont...for sure I could fill the page on how great this company is. So great that Joel and I became investors in the Miami Lakes market center. I am totally committed to this company and our new office.
Honestly, I have received numerous awards over the years but I put all of them in a box in my garage. For the moment when I am being recognized by my peers, it's a thrill and honor, but my true accomplishments come from helping people either buying a new home or selling a home. This is my passion. I love what I do.
I have several but I think the day that I received a phone call telling me that I had been chosen to be Dwyane Wade's Realtor for his Pinecrest home. Unfortunately, he was going through a divorce at the time and had already listed it with 2 Miami agents, and both times the listing expired. Not only did I get the listing, but I had the buyer too. That was one of my proud moments for sure.
Keller Williams is a technology company that sells real estate so you are talking to someone who belongs to a company that is so far ahead of any other real estate company when it comes to making our customers have the best experience. Gary Keller announced a little over a year ago how KW is investing more than $1 billion in technology to make life as easy as possible for consumers and KW agents. We have our own Kelle app.
I know if we go on a listing appointment and if it isn't a referral from one of our friends or past clients, many times the seller will tell us they looked us up on the internet. They wanted to see how many homes we have sold if we had sold in their neighborhood and what clients wrote about us. If you look in my email signature I have a link suggesting people look at our reviews. We are still adding them.
We want EVERY client we work with to become a friend and raving fan of ours. That doesn't happen overnight. How do you become friends with someone? You develop a trust and a kinship and you stay in touch with them regularly. You go out of your way to make them feel special and appreciated. Our clients hear from us all the time either with Birthday cards and treats, or little gifts throughout the year that we think they will enjoy, social get-togethers, holiday parties, market updates, etc.
20 years of experience. I have seen so many things in my years as a Realtor and I have gone through Shifts in the market place which many agents have not unless they have been in this business as long.
We have systems in place which makes the real estate process of buying and selling easier for our clients
Solid marketing skills. I come from a career of marketing and public relations which is necessary to sell real estate
Constantly attending educational webinars, classes. You can never have too much knowledge.
We are a part of Keller Williams which i believe has the strongest technology of any real estate company in the market. That is why we are number 1.
