Eric Slifkin is the founder and team lead of the Slifkin Real Estate Team based in Stuart, Florida. Eric holds a Florida Real Estate Broker license and is a Broker-Associate at Keller Williams Realty of the Treasure Coast. Eric and his team of experienced agents serve the Treasure Coast to Palm Beach real estate corridor, including Stuart, Palm City, Hobe Sound, Jensen Beach, Vero Beach, Port Saint Lucie, and the Palm Beaches.
Having completed over 1000 real estate transactions, Eric's successful real estate practice evolved from his background in Information Technology and customer relations, which helped shape his vision of marketing homes online to buyers and for sellers in Stuart, Florida, and the Treasure Coast.
Eric is a dominant force when it comes to local online real estate, leveraging the most advanced real estate Web platforms, Social Media venues, and responsive design Web sites to provide buyers state-of-the-art home finding tools.
In 2002 after a twenty-year career in Information Technology, my family and I decided to relocate to Stuart, Florida from Northern New Jersey. Soon after our move, I found myself unemployed in an area with limited job opportunities at the time.
I was also in the midst of buying a home, which was for sale by the owner (FSBO). The sellers, an elderly couple, would not work with my Realtor and did not have a clue about selling their own home. I sorted it out and we had a successful transaction. I also had an 'aha moment' and became a licensed real estate professional three months later.
With limited funds but a solid background in IT and Website development, I decided my real estate practice would be an online venture that would harness the Internet’s potential to transform the way consumers search for real estate, especially when it comes to out of town buyers. I soon developed my first user-friendly Web site and lead capture system, which was a rarity in our market at the time.

My biggest challenge is handling the number of leads we get every month from our online marketing! We are in the process of deploying systems and software to improve lead management and follow up with our database of existing and new users. Externally, the competition will always be a challenge but our strength as a team and work ethic continue to be a bulwark against competing agents and industry 'disrupters'.
Just two: Century 21 for six years and Keller Williams for the last twelve years.
C21 was great for the training but not very forward-thinking at the time (my opinion). KW was a game-changer with their access to cutting edge technology, which is so important to our operation. KW is also agent-centric vs the traditional agency focussed model.
