We are a residential real estate firm specializing in purchasing properties below market value, renovating, and reselling for profit. We invest throughout all of Connecticut. Our primary focus is in single family remodels ranging from cosmetic repairs to full gut rehabs.
I always wanted to get into real estate. It became a passion of mine back in college. I took a leap of faith, packed up my stuff, and drove across the country to Las Vegas where I saw the real estate market was cheap. After 4 years in the desert, it was time to come back to the home state and utilize what I had learned out there.
The business can be very very very stressful. A constant roller coaster at times. You learn to live off as a little as possible financially to bootstrap the business and get things off the ground. You are essentially making something out of nothing.

One of my mentees is from the Navajo Reserve in New Mexico. I coached him on getting his real estate business off the ground starting from scratch without any prior real estate experience. Within his first 90 days, we were able to purchase a property to fix and flip. We did a quick 3-4 week rehab and sold the house within 45 days. From start to finish it was about 60 days and we profited roughly 50k. After splitting the profits 50/50, Jake walked away with 25k... the largest check he had ever received in his life. Now the part that hit home the most was that his family lived back on the reserve and did not have that much money. Jake used the profits to help purchase a new trailer home for his parents since the one they had was leaking, dilapidated, and they didn't feel as if they had to get a new one.... This is a great feeling to have and you cannot put a dollar amount on that.
We are local to the Connecticut market and have now completed over 150 real estate transactions over the last 4 years. Sometimes we are not able to purchase a home because of various reasons, but we may be able to help point them in the right direction to save the home or sell through a different route.
