Greater Houston REP, INC was founded on January 31, 2018 by 5 realtors who wanted to create a different kind of Real Estate Company; a company that is motivated by team goals and accomplishments and not one which strives just for individual gain. GHREP has a vision that every client should have the support of a company (not just one agent) and every agent should have the support of a reliable team. Hence, our PARTNERSHIP was created.
Before selling homes, I worked in the banking and lending world for many years.
I was always told many I would be a great Real Estate Agent, and it was always on my mind. But, the leap into commission-only income was very, very scary, so when I moved to Houston and got married I thought this would be a perfect time to see what being a Realtor was all about. I already knew I loved looking at houses, but I knew there was so much more to know. That's when I decided to accept a position in a Real Estate office, to see what I would be getting myself into. When I quickly realized this is what I wanted to do, I started working with an agent as an assistant and then as a buyers agent. This is where I learned all the ins and outs of the contract, negotiations, and building relationships with buyers and sellers. I attribute being a successful Realtor because of where I started, from the bottom, and being able to see real estate from every angle.
Our biggest challenge right now is with Covid-19, even though we are considered essential (because people still need places to live and be quarantined:), some of our normal business has slowed down. Sellers not wanting to list yet or limit showings; Buyers waiting to see how the employment market stands before wanting to see homes - as everyone hopes to retain their jobs.

With the ease of videos, virtual tours, electronic signatures, apps, and social media, we are able to use as much or as little technology as our clients feel comfortable using. These days we are able to buy and close contracts with hardly any physical interaction with Agents, Title Companies, or Lenders but, I still love the one-on-one personal experience we have with each of my clients. Technology is faster and great most of the time, but sometimes you just have to be there and give that personal attention so they know you understand their needs while you build their trust. That's the most important part of a customers' experience, knowing you are working for them.
In our social media world, you must get good reviews to survive! We all look at reviews for everything these days, we look at the bad and the good to try and figure out the truth, this is also true for Realtors. Through HAR, we have online reviews that potential clients can read and look through. I love this option and after any transaction of mine closes, I'm able to send a review through HAR for my clients to rate their overall experience with me. The more reviews you have, the better. People can get an accurate feel for the type of person you are and the business you conduct.

We offer our Agents office, online, and virtual training to help them maneuver the ins and outs of the Real Estate transactions and get them prepared for any situations that come up, and there is always a situation that comes up! With over 20 years of experience in the Real Estate world, my Agents are confident to know I am only a phone, text, or email away and I always make time to answer their questions.
We also learn various ways to think outside the box and we like to incorporate lots of extra media platforms to help our clients when what they are looking for, isn't on MLS; or work on marketing listings before they even hit the market. We have a great working network of agents, title companies, and lenders with who we collaborate and are able to make the process as smooth as possible. We have worked to build amazing relationships with all of the home builders, so we know their products and can get the best possible pricing for our clients.
