For the past 5 years, GREENSTREETNYC. had been working on a Smart Building Program to be utilized on our own development projects and to be provided to other developers and property owners through our consulting services.
In 2019, NYC passed Local Law 97 which established aggressive carbon emission reduction mandates with stiff fines for noncompliance. As the most aggressive carbon emission reduction law in NYC’s history, we have created a world-class team to provide the smartest business strategy available to provide comprehensive compliance with the law.
Our Development projects focus on innovative housing strategies that address both affordability, wellness and sustainability. For multifamily projects, we develop co-living and micro housing to both lower overall leasing costs while providing extensive social and wellness programming.
And for special needs housing work, we develop small scale medicaid-approved and funded housing for kids on the spectrum that provide an alternative to conventional large-scale institutional housing. All of our projects include many of the same efficiency and sustainability features that we provide with our LL97 Compliance Program.
