My Bio

We serve buyers and sellers in the coastal markets in Orange County, Ca. We specialize in listing properties with a special emphasis on the preparation of our listings through our concierge program. We offer a one-stop solution for our clients so we can handle everything for them from the moment we sign a listing agreement through the close of escrow. We pride ourselves in our ability to negotiate effectively and solve problems for our clients; Our goal is to make the process as seamless as possible for our clients throughout the process and minimize stress.

What did you do before becoming a real estate agent?

I was a flight attendant before becoming a Realtor.

How did you decide to get into the industry?

A friend in the industry told me that I had very good people skills and that I would make a good real estate agent. I was looking to make a change at the time and thought I would give it a try.

Have you ever faced any challenges in your current business?

Growing our team has been our biggest challenge. My husband and I come from varied entrepreneurial backgrounds and when we started working together to build our real estate business, we were able to grow quickly and in a very organic way. Shortly thereafter, we realized that, in order to accomplish our goals, we were going to have to bring on staff and other agents to help us grow. We are big proponents of creating the right culture in our organization; Our challenge has been finding the right team members who share our same core values, mission, and vision.

How many brokerages have you worked with so far?

We have worked with 3 brokerages prior to joining Keller Williams Luxury Homes.

What were the pros and cons of each brokerage you worked with?

Each one had a specific niche and/or focus that was right for our growth and development at the time we joined them. We made the decision to join Keller Williams a few years ago because we thought they were an established, yet nimble, company that had: 1) shown a readiness to embrace technology 2) an award-winning training program 3) systems and models that focused on the development of successful teams.

What has the proudest moment of your career been so far?

We are very proud of our sales accomplishments but the thing that makes us most proud is the impact that we have been able to have on the lives of our team members. Helping them learn new skills, watching them grow personally and professionally and mentoring them through challenging times is what really stands out for us.

What technology do you use in your business process to improve your customers’ experience?

We are huge proponents of systems and models and we have always sought out and embraced emergent technologies that help us become better. We have been able to implement several programs that help us streamline our transaction process and deliver effective communication and feedback to our clients. Over the years we have evolved from a customer 'service' model toward a customer 'experience' model. We are constantly looking to improve and continue to look for the subtle nuances and 'small' details that can make a 'big' difference to our clients. Our goal has always been to make the process as seamless as possible for our clients throughout their transaction.

How important do you think getting good online reviews is?

We think that getting good reviews is now more important than ever before.

How does this factor affect your business, and what effort do you put into receiving good reviews?

Many years ago we would rely on 'word of mouth' referrals and recommendations; in this digital age, social proof through positive reviews is becoming increasingly important. In past years, we did not devote much effort to obtaining reviews but are devoting significant effort to it today.

What are the primary advantages your clients get when choosing you over your competitors?

We have 18 years of local experience and have served our clients through several up and down market cycles. This experience gives two primary advantages today: 1) Negotiation - Putting together successful transactions requires us to be good listeners and truly understand our clients' needs and wants. Our experience has taught us that we have to approach our transactions with a 'win/win mentality' and be willing to collaborate with other agents to truly produce successful outcomes. 2) Problem Solving - We have always said the escrow process is nothing more than a series of problems to be solved. Most agents we come across want to give up too easily when confronted with real problems. We have found that nearly every problem can be solved with clear communication and a strong desire to find a solution...never, ever give up.
