I was a stay at home Mom.
I was a stay at home Mom until my Daughter turned five and started school, while both of the kids were little and at home we renovated homes to sell, that was when I decided that it would be a good idea if I had my real estate license. I thought that I would be able to find deals faster and would continue renovating homes. That change as soon as I got started in real estate.
When first starting out as a Realtor you have to overcome being the new realtor, I did that by always working hard, and always answering my phone no matter what. Of course, anything past 10:00 pm would have to wait until the next morning but for the most part, I was available. The other things I found myself struggling with was juggling time for family, I soon learned that family time was so important and learned to set healthy boundaries of my time.
I have only worked for two other Brokers during my career, and that recently happened during the last year.
I started out with Keller Williams here locally and was with them for almost 7 years, there was a conflict there so I decided to move to another office Berkshire Hathaway, It may truly be a great company however it wasn't home, it wasn't KW the culture I have come to know and love. It was a short two months and I quickly found my way back home to another Keller Williams office just outside of Baytown. It is only a 45 min drive for me I was so happy to be home. Keller Williams no matter where you are the pretty much all have the same pay structure with a company Cap, which means you only pay the company so much money and the rest is yours to keep for the rest of the year. Keller Williams has spent over 1 Billion dollars investing in a technology platform, built by agents for agents. They have partnered with Google and Facebook to make sure that we have the absolute best technology platform for their agents. They have an amazing profit share program that the owners give back to their agents. The other company I was With was Berkshire Hathaway the only con I have is they have a 7% royalty that never goes away.

It was the Year 2016 before Hurricane Harvey hit we did right at 12 million in Gross sales, that was a great year for our team.
We use our Keller Williams Mobile App, we also have Drones for all aerial photography, marketing on all social media platforms. Video's for listings, Facebook live and market place for all listings. Clients are able to e-sign all of their documents online, in which we share in a online storage that the client can see their files up to 4 years. Since we specialize in farm and ranch listings we have side by sides to view property on.
It is important I love to get great reviews.
However, I have not made that a huge priority in my business currently. I used to and never really received the results so I pretty much stopped asking people for them.
They get someone who truly cares about what is best for them. In the end, I want them to be happy, if it means they need to stay put for another year before they can purchase we are good with that. I like to advise our clients on what is best for them not what may benefit me.
We specialize in Land, a rural property so when they choose us as their agent we show up ready, if we need to walk property we do that, if we need to ride property we can do that we have the tools needed to walk, ride, or drive 100's of acres. We grew up on large acreage this is our background we can relate to buyers and sellers on the same level when it comes to farm and ranch properties or just rural land.
