Jim Remley is a nationally recognized expert in the field of residential real estate. Entering the real estate industry at the age of 19 he began an unlikely rise from college drop out to real estate Rock Star by becoming ranked in the top 1% of REALTORS® nationwide. Implementing game-changing strategies and deploying the latest technology advances Jim shattered sales records by listing over 150 properties in one twelve month period. At 24 he opened his first Real Estate Company and grew the company to 17 offices becoming the largest independent real estate company in the State of Oregon.
After selling the firm Jim went on to become a sought-after instructor for the National Association of REALTORS as well as the co-founder of the Luxury Home Council. As the author of the prestigious Accredited Luxury Home Specialist Designation (ALHS) and three bestselling books.
My name is Jim Remley I grew up in a small town in Oregon. In high school and as a young adult I worked in several lumber mills, as a dishwasher, as a clerk at a grocery store, and many other odd jobs before I dropped out of college and became a REALTOR at age 19.
My first six months was rough. I had quit a good paying job and I needed to make a living so I cold called day and night. I would get to the office before sunrise and leave well after dark. And I faced thousands of no’s. Every day was an emotional test, a battle within myself to pick up the phone, door knock, call expireds, send thank you notes, contact FSBO’s you know the drill….it was a marathon. I wanted desperately to quit and find a “real job” but my pride kept me in the chair…
But then after six months things started to change…the work I put into the business began to pay off – the books, the seminars, the mentors, and coaches I had listened to and read – combined with real world experience- all started to click.
