My Bio
We help individuals and families with the purchase, sale and rental of condos, townhouses and single family homes. We also help businesses purchase and lease office space. Finally, we help individuals and businesses with investment properties.
I was a commercial banker, then a credit and collections manager, and then a Realtor.
When I decided to work for myself, I already was a real estate investor and found I enjoyed the industry, so I became a Realtor.
My biggest challenge is finding hardworking, motivated salespeople to service our clients. We have high standards, and sometimes it is difficult to recruit agents that can meet those standards.
When I first became licensed, I was affiliated with a local office of a large international franchise, Then I partnered with two others to open an independent agency with 2 offices. In 2015 I split with my partners to open Winding River Realty.
I prefer running an independent agency because of the freedom to customize marketing and business practices to suit the needs of our clients, as opposed to following the dictates of some faraway franchisor that does not know my client's needs as well as I do.

The best technology platform we use is the Multiple Listing System, because it offers the consumer the benefit of the broadest possible exposure to thousands of hungry agents that have potential buyers for their home. Through this MLS platform we not only market homes to agents, but aggregate the listing information on thousands of homes for sale and send that information to the hundreds of websites on the internet that publish that information - including dozens of photos and virtual tours on each home - for the consumer's benefit. This results in a faster sale, for more money, for every home seller that we represent.
Reviews are an important tool for consumers to use to vet individual agents and agencies before they do business with them.
We put a high priority on our clients being honest and truthful when they leave reviews for us, and expect the consumer to use that information to make an informed decision when hiring an agent..
We have a documented track record of getting our sellers a higher sale price for their properties compared with other agencies, and can show our clients how other agents prefer to work with us when we submit offers on behalf of clients, due to our superior reputation for professionalism.
