I have been in the real estate business in one form or another since 1977 when I started to work on construction jobsites. I then worked my way up into every industry that is connected with real estate.
Mortgage rates and the agents that jumped into the market when it was on fire and now are dropping like flies. A lot of these agents are untrained and got their license's and were let loose by their brokers. My biggest issue would be untrained and unsupervised agents.
I have been with a total of 3 other brokerages besides my own that I now have. All have been small boutique brokerages. The first one was just someone that help my license while I worked a full-time job and did one off deals. Very hands off, no training. The 2nd was a boutique that had a good number of agents, I was left alone, it was good learning time as it was 2007 when I started, sink or swim. I had the time to learn and train myself and succeed. 2007 - 2009 where tough times. The third and final Brokerage that was not my own, was great. Everyone got along and again I was left alone to sell and was the top producer for 3 years running. I then decided to get my Brokers License and open my own firm. I have always liked the independent vs the big box brokerages because there is a level of freedom and most of the independent brokerages once you reach a commission cap you don't start over again, every year. There are not a lot of extraneous fees involved as with the big box brokerages. There is a better communication avenue with the Broker. I have been recruited a lot over the years, but I rather stay with my own small Brokerage where I guide the direction that It is going in as well as myself.

I refer others to go to the sites where my reviews are to read them so they can get a feel for who I am and what I do for my clients. The effort put forth is the successful closing for both a buyer and seller or a tenant and landlord.
Per my clients: I go the extra mile for them, I am thorough, I fight for them to get the best deal we can get. I am transparent and tell them like it is. I tell them not to buy if the deal is not right. I do my homework on a property, so we know upfront what they are getting into. I have additional skill sets to help them renovate, decorate and re-design their homes.
