Something I learned early on was to identify what we do best and who are our clients. Sometimes we have to say no to homeowners who really want us, but our model doesn't fit, This is not easy. Another challenge was to educate consumers on design-build and illustrate the benefits. We also educate consumers on how we approach design-build.

When my daughter Rachel joined the business 8 years ago. Last year we promoted her to VP of Operations.
We are 4 generation family business with a high moral compass. Our client experience is collaborative and transparent. We are not your typical contractor with high-pressure salespeople, large overhead, and an expensive showroom. Our goal is to listen to clients' needs and stick to the budget. There is no upselling.
