Patrick was born in New York City and spent 18 years a a top broker on Wall Street earning the distinguished "Chairman's Club" award in 2000 at Ladenburg Thalman a New York Stock Exchange Member firm since 1876 the 6th oldest firm on Wall Street headed by Howard Lorber .Patrick could not wait for Mondays back then and was always the first one in the office.

Patrick was lucky enough to live in the Galleria Building on 57th and Park Avenue and had a 2 minute walk commute to his office on 590 Madison ave on the 34th floor overlooking Central Park Ice rink and after 911 his heart was no longer in the city and decided to move to sunny Naples FL in 2006 and within a few years fell in love with the feel of Marco Island and has been living on Marco Island full time since 2010 and enjoys it so much he has not been back to New York City since.
