We serve busy Silicon Valley homeowners who are looking to upgrade or update their home to better fit their needs. Many of our clients are Eichler owners looking to bring the home current with new kitchens, bathrooms, windows, doors and floors while maintaining the intended design of the home.
From custom homes to bathroom remodels our goal is to create an easy process from conception to completion while always assisting our clients with their budget needs.
Our contractor, my husband, went to school for carpentry in the early '70s. He worked building many of the tract homes here in the bay area. He eventually took what he learned from his schooling and experiences to build homes that last and started Starburst Construction. He did run the company from UT for 10 years or so and did many custom homes in Park City and Salt Lake City. When he returned to the bay area working on unique projects was the focus of Starburst.
Wow! Great question: Being a business owner requires time to work on growing the business. Finding time is always a challenge. Balancing work in the field, work in the office, and work on the business is a juggling act. However seeing the company grow after trying new marketing ideas, new revenue streams, etc. is always exciting.
Living through downturns and learning through them about how to have different revenue streams and reserves to protect the company was a big challenge to overcome.
We have dealt, personally, with many health issues of my husband and luckily had our children able to step in and help. Today we are in succession planning and the business will be carried on by my son and daughter-in-law, which succession planning and running a family business --well that is its merry-go-round!

For Eichler and midcentury owners we are one of a handful of builders who truly understand the systems and how to work with different materials and equipment than a typical home.
We also like to work with our clients collaboratively, from the beginning, working with the team to ensure the plan set can be built for the client's budget.
Finally, we value communication and have an online portal for all communication. This along with weekly meetings and mid-project and final surveys help us to really stay in touch with any issues that may crop up to handle immediately.
