In 1976 she began her career in the real estate industry working in the policy department of a title insurance company. Thirty three years later she had become one of the most respected Commercial Title Officers in the industry.

Cory grew up in Southern California before leaving to attend the University of South Carolina. After graduating with a Bachelors's in Political Science, he worked for New Penn Financial, now called NewRez.

Cory left after being selected to undergo Naval Officer Training and was later designated a Naval Flight Officer in P-3 and P-8 aircraft. After leaving the Navy, Cory engaged full-time in the real estate world in multiple positions leading to him Founding Airdeed.com in 2022.
