I'm a listing and investment specialist with eXp Realty of Colorado in the Denver Metro area, providing buyers and sellers with professional, responsive and attentive real estate services. From a young age I developed a love for competition, never missing an opportunity to turn everything into a good ole’ rivalry. My love for competition drove me to become involved in as many team sports as possible which eventually laid the foundation for my core beliefs today.

Born and raised in Northern Colorado, Real Estate runs in my blood with my biggest inspiration coming from my aunt who has built a successful brokerage in Northern Colorado. Following in her footsteps I got my start in Real Estate through Property Management ten years ago.

I worked my way up from Leasing Agent to Regional Manager overseeing over 3,000 units varying in class from Luxury to affordable, many of those being properties undergoing major renovations all over Colorado. In addition to experience I believe in on-going education.

Currently I hold the following certifications: Gratitude Realtor Institute (GRI), Pricing Strategy Advisor (PSA), E-PRO, Commitment to Excellence (C2EX), National Realtor Association C2EX Ambassador, Certified Staging Advisor (CSA), and Certified Apartment Manager (CAM).

Being native to Colorado, I have lived in a wide range of areas including Summit County, Douglas County, Denver County, and Weld County. This helps me serve a diverse clientele up and down the front range as well as in our beautiful mountain and resort areas.

When I’m not negotiating on your behalf, I’m at the dog park with our energetic black lab, watching my daughter follow in my competitive footsteps playing Volleyball, or my happy place which is at the lake with a cocktail in hand.

I am a third generation Colorado Real Estate Broker. Back in 1947, my Grandfather, William Schroeder started a small company in Denver simply named Schroeder & Company Realty.

My father, my three uncles, and one aunt all started their Real Estate careers out of that office. You could say that Real Estate runs in our family. I followed in their footsteps and received my Real Estate license in 1996.

I have a Bachelors Degree in Project Management from Colorado State University. I was able to live out a dream of being a Country Music singer for a few years when I was signed to a small record label in Nashville in 2009.

I'm a Colorado native and married to to my beautiful wife Tracy (who is also a Colorado native). We have two beautiful children, and I enjoy all of the amazing outdoor activities that Colorado has to offer.

Katlyn has grown up in the beautiful area of Northern Colorado – living anywhere from Red Feather to the Denver metro. She went on to pursue a degree in Finance at Colorado State University, before finding a passion in Real Estate.

I graduated from the University of Colorado at Denver with a Bachelor’s Degree in International Studies with a Business Concentration. I was introduced to the fundamentals of management and marketing and developed a passion for both.

During and after college, I spent ten years working in Corporate Retail Management where I acquired a talent for customer service, developing a team, and driving sales results. I learned how to run a business from every angle, including managing a clientele program, human resource management, event planning, and data analysis.

Translating these skills into the Real Estate industry has been incredibly rewarding and FUN!! Helping others achieve their goals of home ownership and counseling them through major decisions is a tremendous passion of mine.
