A rare native Atlantan, Bev grew up visiting Lake Lanier. She graduated from the University of Georgia with a business degree in Information Systems and minors in both marketing and management. She spent many years in the software industry performing a variety of tasks; and, in time, went into consulting.

She helped software and communications companies set up training, documentation, product marketing, usability studies, testing, product design and much more. Eventually, she opened her own firm, BGK Design Services, where she assisted small businesses with web design and marketing.

Once her children went off to college, she and her husband moved up to their dream home on Lake Lanier (in the hopes of giving the kids a reason to come home more often…which worked!) She fell in love with the area and started investing in lake property.

She discovered a deep love for real estate, and decided to get her license. Now, she is a specialist in lake property, loves it, and she uses her marketing and Internet background as a tool to get the word out about her properties. Matt is a consultant specializing in building technology, and Chris is a builder/renovator in some of the hottest areas of Atlanta. The whole family loves spending time on the lake.
