John, born and raised in Buffalo, NY, originally obtained his real estate license when living in South Carolina in 2OOO when he bought, remodeled, managed a short-term rental business, and sold villas on Hilton Head Island.

Prior to real estate, John was president of a waste hauling company in Western New York. After the sale of the short- term rental business in South Carolina, John was a self-employed business owner in Buffalo selling and servicing medium and heavy-duty trucks for multiple national franchises, as well as managing commercial and personal investment real estate, and a separate radiator franchise business.

In his free time, he was a commercially rated jet pilot, having a pilot’s license for over 25 years before hanging up his wings in 2O19. John volunteered as a WINGS pilot, offering cost-free flights to patients and their families for treatments along the east coast of the USA.

A pandemic transplant to Nashville, John and his wife of 30 years relocated to be closer to their three adult children who work and live in Nashville.
