I always had an interest in real estate and started on the investment side buying my first rental property in 2008. Once I realized all that was involved and how there were probably a lot of people just like me- that were just signing papers and really didn’t know what buying and selling real estate was about.
I set out to get my license so that I could be a bridge for others; to help them to gain full understanding about the process of buying and selling real estate and to make it as smooth a process as possible.
That lead me to become a Broker and starting JL Marsaw & Co Realtors so that I could work with new agents and help them to understand what it is to fully help their clients.
Dane Thomson began his real estate career in 1994. During his real estate career, Dane has worked solely within the commercial markets, focusing on tenant and landlord representation and both investment and user property sales. Dane has become an expert in representing entrepreneurial and value-add ownership groups and small to mid-level businesses.
Over the years he has represented several large institutional owners with project leasing, including Principal Financial Group, Northwestern Mutual Life, REEF Funds and Capital Commercial. Throughout his career, Dane has been acknowledged with several Top Producer awards, receiving Top Producer on more than one occasion while at Alliance Commercial, Top Producer Team in back to back years while at Bradford Realty Services and he has also been recognized as a Dallas Business Journal’s Heavy Hitter.
Over his 25+ year career, Dane has been involved in the successful completion of over 450 lease and sale transactions. Dane’s continuing goal is to focus on personal attention, superior service and attention to detail for every client.
