Devyn Co-Founded Vantage Media Productions in 2022 and plans to assist personal branding and multiple businesses by creating an effective strategy that saves time and allows businesses to grow while keeping a consistent presence on social media.

It all began on a snowy day in an Illinois cornfield shortly after I entered college after serving in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. Two shots rang out from my 12 gauge shotgun and a beautiful male ring-necked pheasant dropped lifeless out of the sky into the fresh snow. I went home disgusted with myself for having shot this magnificent bird.
In 1987, I moved back to my roots in New England and have been in Maine ever since. In 2006, I went completely digital and now shoot Canon full-frame DSLR’s exclusively. My bird and landscape images have appeared in many Down East and Brown Trout calendars over the years. I have sold hundreds of fine art landscape images in galleries across the country. When time permits, I travel to Vermont in the fall and winter to shoot landscapes. Through the years, I have sold hundreds of stock images to magazines and architects.
In 2000 my wife and I moved to Westbrook, Maine and I began pursuing my interest in architectural photography. Since that time I have photographed many interiors and exteriors in beautiful Maine homes for architects, custom home builders, interior designers and national paint companies.

Since I was 12 years old, photography has been my passion. Today, it’s my profession and expertise, and I’ve been fortunate to travel the world because of it.

Currently, I’m based in Boston and specialize in basically anything that needs its picture taken! From food and architecture/interiors to even lifestyle, I think that even the ordinary can look incredible with the right light and eye.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with a variety of clients, including multinational companies, magazines, international hotel brands, and ordinary people. If you’re looking for a photographer that captures the natural beauty and details of a subject, I’m your guy.

My love for photography started in high school (back in the 90s!), when my art teacher had us take portraits and develop them in the school’s darkroom. It wasn’t until 2007 when I got my first ‘real’ camera, a Nikon, that I became an avid photographer. I had just moved to Maine from Ohio with my husband the year prior and was amazed by the abundant beautiful landscapes, flora, and wildlife. Every trip to the beach, lighthouses, breathtaking rocky coastline and quintessential seaside towns was an opportunity for photos. I turned that passion into a side business selling handmade products with my photos transferred on to several local gift shops and bookstores.
We moved to Falmouth in 2017, and the house hunt actually inspired me to learn the art and technical side of interior photography. So many homes listed online with unappealing photos made me want to provide a better experience for people buying or selling a home. A neighbor in the industry recommended I delve into this market, so I spent the winter training and practicing before officially launching. Since then, we have worked with multiple real estate agencies in Maine and have photographed properties from Harpswell to Saco to Sebago Lake, and many places in between! We are pleased to be a full-service real estate media company, offering interior and exterior photographs, aerial photos and video, and interior video as well. We have added services like virtual staging, twilight, sunrise imagery, and more. We value our customers, with whom we strive to create long lasting professional relationships.
