J Andrew Arlegui is an experienced real estate professional licensed in multiple states, including California, North Carolina, and South Carolina. He recognizes and values the trust of his clients' place in him, and he strives every day to exceed their expectations.
He is committed to listening to his clients' needs and utilizing his keen negotiating skills to ensure a successful transaction. His business and marketing background and a business coach and trainer gave him the edge to represent and communicate with his clients to the fullest. He is a hard-working, detail-oriented, and resourceful real estate professional.
Resilient is a word that J Arlegui always resonated with growing up. He grew up in the Philippines and graduated at the age of 19 with a degree in Business Administration and Marketing. He took a leap of faith and moved to California, started a career in retail management, and worked part-time as a real estate assistant.
After a massive merger with an east coast company, the company moved him to NY/NJ and facilitated some of the transition and trained mid-level management teams. Later in the late 90's He left his corporate job, relocated to Charlotte, opened a Cafe and a Pottery Studio, and started investing in real estate.
The business did well after a few years, and he pursued his passion for real estate and began his real estate career in 2006. His determination and perseverance made him one of Charlotte's recognize and respected real estate agents.
His years of experience integrates professionalism and dedication when helping his customers find their dream home. Buyers and Sellers are drawn to his honest assessments and strategic approach, ensuring the best outcome for his clients' needs. He is diligent, driven, a smart problem-solver, and takes on challenges willingly.
He was active in the real estate community in Charlotte, NC, and represented the Asian-American Diversity Council for two consecutive years. He also holds a designation for ABR, CIPS, e-Pro, SFR, CHLMS, Million Dollar Guild, and SPS. He attends yearly educational seminars to improve his ability to take care of his client.
He recently completed a certificate of completion with CCIM for Calculating Value for Investments, and he is also trainer and coach for The John Maxwell Team. When it comes to connecting people locally and globally, having diverse backgrounds requires planning, sensitivity, and tact.

I had a successful coffee shop and pottery studio for eight years and invested in real estate investment on the side.
Being in a customer service business for a very long time, I realize that the key to a successful business is to provide excellent customer service. Having the opportunity to converse with several real estate agents that frequently visited the coffee shop made me realized that real estate is a relationship-based business. I figured since I am already investing in real estate and I know I have the experience in customer service, why not get my license and see how it goes.
I think it was more of a fear of not able to sell or list homes during my first month. I have a strong-willed and determined personality, and I am my competition. I wanted to make sure I understand the process and the systems before I could confidently assist my first client. Luckily my first year was amazing. I learned the business quite fast to keep up with my business. I guess one struggle was the office I was affiliated with back then didn't have the support that I have now.
I have been with two brokerages since I started.
The first brokerage taught me to be independent, and I learned everything the hard way. Great people though they didn't have the right system in place to support their agents. I was always researching proper marketing, scripts, and how to keep my business growing. The office did not anticipate the growth of its agents and needs. My current brokerage I have been with KW for 11 years, and it is all about the system, the right marketing, and the vast array of educational materials provided to the agents.

As a real estate agent, you must be able to listen well to assist your clients to the fullest. I have a vast array of clients from first-time homebuyers, move up, NFL players, physicians, and top executive relocation, to name a few, and I am proud that I give them all the same level of service.
KW is now also a technology company, and they provide systems that allow me to focus on my client's needs. My clients can check their home value and homes for sale around them though our KW App, and we also use the electronic system to remind due dates for clients and me when they are under contract. I am a true believer of 21st technology and also a fan of traditional methods. I let the technology do what it suppose to do, and I pick the phone and follow up with my clients and occasionally invite them to meet for coffee, wine, or try a new restaurant. I want my clients to feel confident that if they need me, they call, text, or email me.
Not enough effort and it is on my list to do.
My clients are mostly sphere referrals and repeat business. I do want the online reviews, although getting repeat referrals from my clients is the best compliment I can have.
I am passionate about real estate, and I believe in excellent customer service. As a real estate professional, my goal is to have a happy client who will provide referrals and repeat business. My clients appreciate the attention, honesty, patience, level of expertise, and high regard I have for them. I don't take the confidence my clients place in me lightly. I am fully immersed in the real estate business and always keep myself up to date with constant changes in the real estate market.
