My Bio

I've been a licensed Real Estate Principal Broker serving the Portland Metro area since 1998. I am an owner/investor and the Managing Principal Broker for Keller Williams Realty Portland Elite in Oregon as well as an Owner/investor and Managing Principal Broker for Keller Williams Realty Elite in Washington.

I also run a small team and we handle all things Real Estate, however our main focus and areas of expertise are with residential and investment property listings, and with Pre-foreclosure, Short Sale and Bank Owned listings. We carry a heaving load of properties with great flipper/investment potential at all times. We love what we do and hope to be a great resource for all your future Real Estate needs.

What did you do before becoming a real estate agent?

I did many things, lol! I was a stay at home mom, an OB surgery tech, personal trainer, petsitter, singing telegram singer, life insurance agent, precious metal deal, and administrative assistant.

Have you ever faced any challenges in your current business?

23 years ago when I initially wanted to get my real estate license, someone close to me told me I could never stand out due to a very saturated industry and would never make it. Essentially, it would only be an expensive hobby.

What were the pros and cons of each brokerage you worked with?

Keller Wiliams is the #1 training company in any industry and by far the leader in technology. I also love their culture and have no plans to leave!

What are the awards, professional achievements, and accomplishments you have received?

Since 2013, 7 short years ago, Troy and Denise have served over 500 families resulting in over $90 million in real estate sales.
*Top 1% in the production of over 6,000 realtors in the OKC Metro.
*Denise has spoken nationally at Keller Williams events on marketing homes.
*Recognized in 2015 as Innovators of the Year in Real Estate

Real Estate is not their only passion, they have been featured on Steve Harvey twice as Blended Family experts and Denise an advocate for helping parents combat the dangers of Teen Technology!
Denise has also been featured on Rachel Ray, The Oprah Winfrey show 2x's, The Talk. She also just wrapped filming and will be starring in a top-rated, popular reality series late this summer/fall of 2020.
They wake up with a fire in their bellies and love that there is no ceiling in this industry. When you are serving your purpose, passion and blessings follow! Be careful telling this power couple something can’t be done! They will certainly die trying to break barriers and defy odds.

What has the proudest moment of your career been so far?

Having gone through an acrimonious divorce, I have a heart for women dealing with starting over and navigating this dark journey. I got a call from an attorney who would be relayed that this woman's husband was incarcerated for pedophile charges. The house was near foreclosure status. The wife had no knowledge of her husband's despicable acts, but DHS took her child to live with a relative out of state pending the investigation. The house was left in shambles as if they just threw belongings in a car and fled. The mother went to the state the child was in to be close. Her life and marriage blew up in a matter of moments. We are not able to do this for every client but we cleaned the house, moved all the furniture to the curb, sold some of it for her extra profit and she was able to net about $9,000. We sold the house in one day for top dollar! She called and told me this money was life-changing for her fresh start with her baby boy. Feeling like I made a difference in fighting for her to get top dollar and get her house in presentable condition was amazing. I pray for this woman and her son to this day. We don't just sell houses, we serve people.

What technology do you use in your business process to improve your customers’ experience?

We have many back-end checklists and systems in place so nothing falls through the cracks. We use manifestly, dotloop, KW Command, google calendar, and todoist.

How important do you think getting good online reviews is?

Reviews are so important in our business!

How does this factor affect your business, and what effort do you put into receiving good reviews?

I can tell you all day how amazing we are. If someone else says it, there is so much more credibility in that!

What are the primary advantages your clients get when choosing you over your competitors?

We have a proven history of breaking records for raising comps in neighborhoods we sell in. Our marketing is second to none. You get 2 of us for one. We both have different strengths we bring to the table and you are not handed off to a less experience team member. We are handing your preparation with getting your home ready for sale, choosing a lender, and truly walking you through the process arm in arm. We are keen negotiators, experts in our market place and truly care. We serve like we are CHOSEN. There are 6,000 other realtors in our marketplace, we do not take this for granted. You are placing the largest asset in our hands, even the smallest of details is important to us. Our goal is to make you feel you are our ONLY client in the way we serve, even though we have many.
