My Bio
Born to a prominent family in Bangladesh, Samina Chowdhury grew up speaking four languages fluently – Bengali, Hindi, Urdu and English. Although Bengali is her first language she was able to speak fluently in Hindi & Urdu because of her maternal side of the family who originated from India.
Having attended the best English-speaking schools in Bangladesh, Samina came to the United States 15 years ago to pursue a degree in Graphic Design from Maryland Institute and College of Arts (MICA). Having obtained her degree, Samina started her own free-lance business as a graphic designer eight years ago. Samina’s Graphics, which is the name of her company, has been running since then.
Currently, she is working as a realtor and within the first three months or her new endeavor, Samina has managed to earn the status of one of the top million-dollar producing agent in the real estate business. She has been given the award for the Top Buyer Agent for her office for 2006 and 2007. Keller Williams has given her a Quadruple Platinum Award. Her goal is to give excellent customer service so that people call her for repeat business and referrals.
She is never too busy for her referrals. Samina is also the Joint Secretary for Bangladesh Association in Washington Metro Area and Vice President for Howard County Muslim Council in Maryland and Board member for Maryland Middle Eastern Chamber of Commerce. Samina is married and has two children.
