I represents businesses (large and small) when it comes to finding their office space. This begins with understanding a business at its core so we are able to advise what would be best suited for their employees such as geography, office footprint, amenities, etc. The process begins with touring our clients through the market, leading lease negotiations, and ends with lease execution.
Before becoming a commercial real estate agent I worked in private equity.
Finance is a passion of mine and I have always loved numbers, but I was missing the social and creative aspect. Being an agent allows me to harness my love for data/numbers as well as my love for connection, architecture and design.
The pandemic threw a wrench in the office market. For over a year, office occupancy plummeted to below 30% occupancy. A big challenge now is navigating how companies will come back to the office, and when they do, how we can better help our clients utilize their space.
As a commercial broker, I work with many brokers on a daily basis. Over a year time, I will likely transact with 20-50 brokers if not more.
Fortunately, this changes monthly, if not weekly. I am most excited about my job when my clients feel fulfilled and happy. Pitching and winning business is also a feeling that is hard to describe. Winning business working with people you love is what I live for.
