We are a leading homebuilder and developer for move-up buyers. We tend to work with buyers who want a good sized home on a larger lot. Our buyers especially want to live in a neighborhood that's in a great location with nice amenities. Therefore, we are extremely thoughtful about where we build in the Treasure Valley and we work with world-class architects to bring not only highly functional and proven floorplans, but also highly aesthetically pleasing homes.
Jim and Jan Hunter founded Boise Hunter Homes after Jim's career building and managing master plan developments in California. Jim, Jan, and their sons Travis and Cody have created a family-friendly atmosphere with strong values and they are involved in every aspect of the company.
Starting as a custom builder with a few employees and no land positions to one of the premier community developers and homebuilders in the Treasure Valley has brought incredible joy and certainly challenges. It would take a while to explain the number of challenges that we've overcome to get to where we are, but we feel extremely grateful to have been so deeply involved in helping develop the Treasure Valley.

Our company has the distinct advantage of offering proven floorplans with several personalized structural options as well as a selection process where buyers can choose upgraded finishes. It's not common in our current strong market conditions to offer a choice on finishes to buyers - most homebuilders are building spec homes with limited to no personalized options. Our base finishes are also excellent - 9' ceilings, 8' doors, covered patios, 3-car garages, large kitchens, lots of windows, gorgeous master suites, fireplace in the great room - these are the sorts of things that our buyers' value and are part of our base package.
