Brittany is the heart of The Heckenberg Realty Group. Brittany has 20 years of real estate experience and is completely dedicated to her clients and specializing in their needs. As one of the leaders in the Colorado market she has been named a 5280 Five Star Real Estate Professional for the last five years, an award near and dear to her heart as her clients have recognized her for her dedication to those she serves and her excellent customer satisfaction. Brittany has built a trusted business and is proud to have served several hundred families over the years.
In high school, I was working a weekend job at a real estate office. I really enjoyed the agents and the office.
In college, I took a full-time job working with a real estate agent and we started to grow her business. While working as a full-time admin for a growing real estate team I pursued a degree in Marketing, where I wanted to specialize in sports marketing. I was working for the Colorado Rapids as an intern while going to school and still keeping my full-time job. After graduation, I realized that sports marketing was not something I wanted to pursue. My employer handed me $1,000 and said go get your real estate license and be my business partner. You're cut out for real estate and you're ready!
Well, I have been in the industry for 20 years. I have seen good markets and I have seen bad markets. I survived the crash in 2007 & 2008. One of the biggest struggles I face in business is finding the balance between wife, mom, and realtor. Over the course of my career, we've been blessed with four children, so each addition to our family has taught me how in control of my schedule I must be. Sometimes I am on and can every minute of my schedule and other days I am completely blindsided by it.
I have spent my entire career at Keller Williams. When I first started back in 2000, I was with the Cherry Creek office and in 2004, joined the newly open Keller Williams Downtown office.
I haven't ever considered switching brokerage firms. KW has treated me like family and supported my family in so many ways.

2018- Received the Culture Award for our office for hosting a blood drive in our son's honor
I truly have had so many amazing moments. One of my proudest moments was when I was able to share the stage with my all-time idol Diana Kokoszka, where I spoke at an Inspirational Breakfast for our region
Systems, systems, systems. We have a very good detailed plan in place for each stage of the transaction so no items are overlooked or missed. Our clients also have the option to use our app to view and search homes and even schedule showings with me through the app. We embrace technology and use it as a tool in our business.
This is absolutely an area of growth for us. I pride myself in doing a great job for our clients and yet I struggle with broadcasting our accomplishments.
I am incredibly proud that on average we are selling our listings for 100-106% over LIST price in record time while the average agent is netting their clients 97% of list price. I am netting sellers up to 10% higher than the 'average' agent. I do find them important and I am ecstatic when I get a glowing review. I just need to ask more often them. We very much value our clients' privacy as well, so I am 100% considerate when we work with private people not to bombard them with the ask.
Besides house shopping with a friend? In all seriousness, The Heckenberg Group is the total package. We are netting our sellers up to 10% more than the average realtor in Colorado. Our marketing strategies and plans are reducing our seller's days on market in half if they use the techniques and suggestions we have in place. We offer a full concierge service with all listings and sellers can choose to opt-in with each package. Our marketing and internet presence is clean, precise, and truly specific to each property we sell. We carefully think through each of our listings and gather our target market and customize each listing. When working with buyers we are negotiating on their behalf and consistently providing them value every step of the way. We are carefully dissecting the price and making sure our buyers are not overpaying for a property and walking into instant equity. There is nothing more satisfying when I get a call from a client that says, hey did you see my neighbor listed their home and it's X amount over what I paid. I love those calls and we get them all the time. We take great pride in negotiating hard for our buyers. Ryan, my husband is also a general contractor as well as a licensed agent, so his insight into our buyer's homes has proved invaluable. He's able to quickly assess conditions and give our buyers a snapshot of improvements which will generate even more instant equity for our buyers. Our clients have long learned that after their sale is complete that friendship still stands. We host several client events each year; we are checking in on them and their investment quarterly, and we like to love on them throughout the year and surprise them we gifts of appreciation.
