As a successful entrepreneur and founder of a women-owned and Black-owned business, I had a lot of bumps in the road and some big racial, sexist, and bias challenges, sometimes even challenging my own worth and self esteem. I'm passionate about helping others achieve their own entrepreneurial dreams. Over the last 20 years, I've gained invaluable experience that I'm eager to share with my clients. What did you do before becoming a real estate agent? How did you decide to get into the industry?

I worked in the health care field and I decided to enter the real estate field because I had 3 children to raise as a single mom and I thought what better way to buy my first house.

Have you ever faced any challenges in your current business?

Racism, sexism and devaluation

How many brokerages have you worked with so far? What were the pros and cons of each brokerage you worked with?

2. The first was very devaluing to me that is why I took the broker test and I created my own firm and was majorly successful. With the first firm, it was very sexist, and alot of racist remarks and I could not say anything about because they made a joke of it. The cons was that and I was paid less. But owning my own office was more work yet I reaped more of a reward for many years, as well as helping people.

Diversity in Business Award; Outstanding Service to the Community in communications; Certificate of Recognition Black History Month Honoree; Member of the Year

What has the proudest moment of your career been so far?

When i was recognized by the county for being an outstanding service to the community

How important do you think getting good online reviews is? How does this factor affect your business, and what effort do you put into receiving good reviews?

Very important it is important to build you character and referral by word of mouth and I ask as many times as I pick up the phone and work with someone.

What are the primary advantages your clients get when choosing you over your competitors?

We specialize in advocating at a legislative level for everyone to have a home fairly and affordably. With a teaching component that keeps our buyers & sellers educated throughout our connection.
