My Bio
My name is Eric Angulo and I came to the U.S. when I was 12 years old. I worked in different fields, including banking and mortgage, but I found my true passion in real estate. I have been a real estate agent for more than 10 years now.
My real estate career began in October 2004 with Prudential California Realty in Orange, California. Since the beginning of my career, my motto has always been to provide loyalty, respect, and dedication to my clients; treating them like family.
I have been working in both the customer service and sales fields since I was 18 years old.
I love working with people and the experience of fulfilling one dream at a time, especially for first-time home buyers, they come not knowing anything about the process and sometimes feel like they won't be approved. Once they receive the keys to their new home, is the most satisfying experience for me.
Not having a steady income, coming from the corporate world, it's hard to manage a budget not knowing for certain, money is going to be there. But once I found my first client, that client referred me to another, and so on. Getting started was the hardest thing for me.
I have worked with three brokers since I started in 2004, and I learned a lot from each one of them.
I started with Prudential Realty (which no longer exists) I worked with them for 2 years, then I was offered a position as a Branch Manager with Nuestra Casa Realty, this was a move up in my career, I was in charge of a group of 10 agents and a loan officer, this was the most satisfying time of my career, unfortunately, the 2008 crisis hit home in 2008 and I had to look for a job back in the corporate world. Then in 2017 I moved from California to Texas and in 2019 I passed my Texas real estate exam, I started working with Keller Williams in January of 2020 and have been with them until now. I like it here at Keller Williams there is plenty of support, I don't feel like I'm alone in the business, and I can always reach out whenever I have a question.
While working at Prudential I received the rising agent award, from Broker Magazine. I was also top ten agents in a brokerage of more than 100 agents in the first six months of working as a real estate agent.
I don't think there is a single one, there are many, as I mentioned before, every time I see the happy face of my clients walking into their new homes, I feel so proud. If I had to choose one it would be while working with Nuestra Casa Realty when I was a branch manager, seeing how proud my family was to see me there, in charge of one of the most productive offices of the firm.
I use Social Media, using mobile smart devices, laptop, desktops computers, etc. I advertise on all of the main social media channels as well as through direct e-mail marketing.
Online reviews are like letters of recommendation, clients now do research online prior to contacting a real estate agent, and the more good reviews I have the more chances they will contact me.
I ask every client at the time of our closing to please provide a review on my social media channels as that is the "Thank you" they can give me, besides their referrals of course.
I listen closely to their needs and wants, I am bilingual Spanish-English fluently. I pay attention to the details. One client might be looking for a quiet setting to interact with nature, while others might be more interested in the downtown life of the city. I understand that the process is not always straightforward, there are roadblocks along the way, and I'm willing to walk them through. I have more than 15 years of experience in real estate, so I can say there's a lot of knowledge I can share.
