My Bio
Hi I'm Jonas Helbert Broker/Owner of Streetlight Realty and Team Lead for a select few agent within Streetlight Realty. I've been in the real estate industry since 2013, but it's been a passion of mine since I graduated High School in 2005.
I was born and raised in Beavercreek, Oh. From K-12 I was educated in the Beavercreek Public School system. I attended Fairbrook, Ankeney Middle School, and Beavercreek High School. Immediately after graduating High School I enrolled to Wright State University to pursue a degree in Economics and Hondros to pursue a liscense in real estate. I had passed all of my classes at the time for my real estate license but never thought about how I would float working at two different retailers, attending college full time, and trying to begin a career in real estate. At the time dropping my real estate career seemed to make sense. This wouldn't be the first time I quit on a dream of mine.
It wasn't to much longer when my high school sweetheart was faced with the decision at 20 yrs old to have childen or don't. It was now or never and we had been together since our sophomore year of high school so together we decided to have a child. Or attempts to have a child were success.... we had twins. Twins, weren't in the financial playbook. One of us was going to have to drop out of college. Miranda had plans to become a teacher and didn't have a choice and needed to continue her studies. So, yet again, without hesitation I dropped out of college and ramped up hours at the bank I was working at and picked up a second job selling phones... That continued until the kids were born. They were 2 months pre-mature so my days consisted of working at the bank from 9-6p then the retail store from 6:30-9:30p then the hospital most of the week until we were kicked out.
Once the kids were home I quit the second job and eventually made it over to Wright-Patt Credit Union. With better pay and opportunities, I eventually moved from retail banking into mortgages in 2013!!!! I worked with WPCU and Unions Savings Bank. Both jobs gave me opportunities to learn about real estate. The passion never went away. The first home my wife and I purchased was a foreclosure that we fixed up. The second was a great off market opportunity that was undervalued.... I loved it. Everything came to a head and I either need to make some major career advancements or start a business. Those had always been the goals. I was to timid with a family and having the larger steady income stream to quit and give real estate a shot (there's an over 70% failure rate).... but I wanted to do something!
I finally finished my degree online through Tiffin University and applied for so many jobs.... it was so discouraging I didn't have the skills or experience for entry level jobs (doesn't even make sense all of these years later). I had mediocre success as an afflilate marketer as a side hustle, and jobs weren't presenting themselves... discouraged and fed up with taking the same application 5x a day and asking the same 200 questions, I told my wife I was going to give real estate a shot. I was confident I wouldn't fail, she was very supportive of this. It was after that I re-took my classes and was officially licensed Nov. 2016. The avg. agent sells less than 12 homes a year.... my "ambitious" goal of 2 million in sales was tripled I sold over 6 million dollars in real estate and closed on over 50+ homes. I started at a small regional company, moved to the biggest national brokerage for a bit then at the 2 year mark open Streetlight Realty.
It's been a wild ride to say the least, if I didn't love what I do so much I'm not sure I'd still be in it. I work more hours than before, but have had the flexibility to coach my kids soccer team, sons baseball, attend my daughters dance and swim classes.
I've since began building up my investing side of the business as well. Even with the little time I have I still find time to play guitar, read books on my favorite historical figures, watch some DBZ, or play a little Zelda!
Whether you are looking to buy or sell a primary residence or start your real estate investing journey I'm your guy!

Streetlight Reality opens with plan to help Realtors
I have been in the real estate business since 2013. First, as a Mortgage loan officer and now as a full time Realtor.
I am a college graduate from Tiffin University with a Bachelors in Business Adminstration. Not only am I Realtor, I am also a Real Estate Broker (twice the education as it specifically relates to real estate). I also have years of experience as a lender, ask me why this matters!
Marketing, I'm big on utilizing the internet to attract buyers and sellers. This includes partnering with Realtor.com, Redfin.com, Zillow.com, Google, Bing, and more! Warning... if you hear an agent say "referrals" that probably means they don't invest into their business. I'm transparent and can share my marketing activities with you!
Absolutely! I have references from previous clients, agents, mortgage originators, and/or title companies!
Yes, and it all starts with this guide. Once the property is listed, You will receive a weekly update providing the data and stats behind the marketing of your home with recommended plan of action!
That's a great question! The answer varies client to client and the services they'd like. Unlike some agents, I have flexible pricing that meets nearly every occasion!
Yes, I'd be more than happy to discuss those scenarios with you!
For 2021, 36% of my business came from referrals! I'd be more than happy to show the complete break down.
Yes.
If my services don't meet up to your standards just give me a call and if I can't resolve the concern we can terminate the listing.
