My Bio
I love finding ways to give back to the community. I originally earned a bachelors degree in biology/chemistry to study medical research. My goal was to find a cure, but the field had different goals that did not fit with my morals.
So I looked elsewhere. I found a way to teach English online to children in China, and it is the best, most fun and rewarding job I have had yet. But, due to the time difference, the hours are very limited. So, what else can I do to help others?
I started a nonprofit mental health organization called MiLife. But this does not pay. How can I give back while earning a little extra cash? I decided to help others sell and buy their most valuable possession, their home.
And with the strongest and largest real estate company in Michigan, I promise to always be learning more about the market, about the wants and needs of you, buyers, and sellers, and about the legal requirements and paperwork. This way you can relax, feel comfortable and confident in your decisions, and get the deal you want.
I am not going to sell you a house, I am going to help you find your dream home. I am not going to sell your property, I am going to find someone who loves your home as much as you do that will continue to care for it.
I have spent my 28 years of life in the metro Detroit area. I know the surrounding cities well, and I love to travel and learn about other places too. I have strong morals and I always do my best to do what is right and what is best for the people I care for.
I am always learning and I am able to simplify any process to make it more understandable. I am a curious person so I never shy away from questions and concerns from others.
I went to school to do medical research, which I did at U of M Ann Arbor. I eventually learned that the industry is a little more liberal in its regulations as I would like, and for no money.
Helping others has always been a main goal of mine, and Real Estate seemed like a way I could help others while having time to promote other causes, such as mental health.
The biggest challenge, and frustration, in Real Estate, is not being able to know everything. As soon as I start feeling confident in my skills, here comes a problem I've never heard of before. Or new legislation that changes everything. There isn't a single guideline you can follow because every situation is different and calls for different solutions.
The second biggest challenge is snobby Realtors. They think they're better than everyone else. Poor communication skills, and since they won't take the blame for their mistakes, they won't fix them either.
I have only been with Real Estate One and I will never leave. Originally I was going to work with a small brokerage.
Real Estate One
They offered to cover marketing costs but taking more commission and limited training outside of shadowing. I interviewed with REO and I immediately fell in love. The culture, values, the people and support, infinite training opportunities, low fees with extra marketing help, a big name in the industry, and so much more. They're too good to us agents
I am allowed to get 2 certificated a year so I already have RENE, MRP, and SRP. Due to Covid, there was a delay in the 4th. But I'm sure I will have it by the end of the year.
I cannot think of one particular moment. But every time someone comes to me and asks my advice or wants my help, I am proud that they trusted me to help them. Everyone knows at least 5 - 10 other Realtors. So it means a lot that they chose me. I don't think I'll ever get tired of that feeling.
I have a lot of apps that I use. But I don't overwhelm my clients with anything they don't need. Sending MLS updates is one of the most important, especially in this market, as it helps us act fast. For anything else, it really just depends on each client's individual needs.
I definitely think it helps. I know I always look at reviews before I purchase any goods or services.
I have a few but I don't push. That's not why I do what I do. Regardless of reviews, I always try to make the process as smooth, quick, and easy as possible.
I am a family-oriented, philanthropic scientist. My science background keeps me on my toes; always learning and finding better ways to solve issues or concerns. Because of my family and their support, I am a respectful, caring, giving person that strives to help others achieve their dreams.
I am also a big mental health advocate with my own nonprofit. I make sure that and my clients are at ease as much as possible.
