Steve began his career at Eccleston and Wolf as a law clerk in the Summer of 2009, before joining the firm as an associate in December 2010.

At the University of Baltimore School of Law, Steve was an editor of the University of Baltimore Law Forum and a member of the National Taxation Moot Court Team.

Steve’s litigation practice focuses on the defense of lawyers, health care professionals, directors and officers, Homeowner’s Associations (HOA), Community Organizations and Management Companies, employment matters, professional malpractice defense, products liability defense, premises liability defense and general casualty matters.

He also concentrates in providing coverage opinions to insurance company clients and representing those clients in coverage disputes.

Where did the idea to start the company come from?

As the firm has been in existence for over 100 years our objective has evolved, but at present, it is to provide the best legal service available at reasonable costs.

Have you ever faced any challenges in your current business?

Having been in existence since 1900, the firm has encountered a variety of challenges including several wars, a number of economic downturns, and other issues including a pandemic. We have always striven to put our clients first and that has proven to be a successful formula.

What are the awards, professional achievements, and accomplishments you have received?

Our firm is a top-ranked firm by the best lawyers, we have lawyers who are members of the American College of Trial Lawyers which is restricted to membership to the top 1% of any lawyer in the state and other associated awards for achievement.

What has the proudest moment of your career been so far?

My induction in the American College of Trial Lawyers. One cannot petition to join the College, one must be nominated. The earliest point in a career where one can be nominated is after 17 years of practice. Two negative votes from any member of the College are sufficient to keep someone from being inducted as a member.

What are the primary advantages your clients get when choosing you over your competitors?

The objective of our firm is to provide top-quality legal services at reasonable costs. We strive to comply with our clients’ requirements and billing notations and to analyze matters and seek to bring them to a conclusion at the earliest possible point.
