Louis Posner has been licensed as a real estate broker in New York State for 30 years. His diverse experience and skill sets enable him to handle any real estate transaction. Prior to being an Associate Broker with Oxford Property Group, Louis Posner was with a boutique commercial real estate firm in Manhattan where he represented owners and tenants in office leases, retail leases, restaurant acquisitions, and building sales.
Louis Posner has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Drexel University where he was in the Beta Alpha Psi and Beta Gamma Sigma national honor societies. He started his career as a CPA in a Big 4 accounting firm. Louis Posner obtained an MBA in Taxation and became a Tax Supervisor with a national CPA firm.
Louis Posner worked as a Syndication Specialist with a publicly held financial services firm, handling the financing of large real estate projects including Zeckendorf Towers in Manhattan and movie deals including Dirty Dancing. Louis Posner obtained his Juris Doctor law degree from New York Law School and went on to become Managing Partner in a boutique commercial law firm in Manhattan, where he litigated many cases in the State and Federal Courts, including the Motel 6 Insider Trading case by the SEC.
Louis Posner has been cited in Who's Who in American Lawyers, Who's Who in America, and Who's Who in the World. Louis Posner has been a Manhattan resident for 35 years and knows every neighborhood. Louis has leased and operated his own offices in prime Manhattan buildings, and has been involved in Manhattan's nightlife industry, as well. Louis Posner lives in Turtle Bay with his family and Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.
Louis Posner has contributed to various causes and is a member of the Kindertransport Association and American Mensa.
