My Bio
Vanda Martin has lived a varied and full life: earning a basketball scholarship, owning her first enterprise at nineteen, obtaining a degree in business and marketing, moving to the United States from Brazil, working as a personal trainer, becoming the number-one realtor in her region and part of the top 1 percent worldwide with Coldwell Banker, and finally becoming a successful coach.
Since beginning coaching Vanda Martin has transformed many lives and careers, creating multiple millionaires along the way, as well as becoming an Amazon best selling author of her book The Art of High Energy.
As a real estate professional with over 40 years of experience, I joined Vanda Martin’s coaching program with high expectations, trusting the glowing recommendations and her reputation. Unfortunately, my experience has been deeply disappointing and has left me feeling misled and taken advantage of during a challenging time in my career.
I invested $4,500 in this program based on Vanda’s assurance that her strategies would work in any market, including Aspen—a highly unique and competitive luxury market. Despite diligently watching all the video courses, applying the principles, and investing significant time and effort, the program failed to provide any tangible results.
The materials offered were generic and not adaptable to Aspen’s niche challenges, such as:
A lack of FSBOs or expired listings.
Impracticality of working with properties over 30 minutes away in mountainous terrain.
Ineffectiveness of cold calling, door knocking, and online lead generation for affluent buyers.
What’s more, personal support—an integral part of any coaching program—was severely lacking. Despite reaching out multiple times, I received dismissive responses, and I was often redirected toward costly one-on-one coaching upsells.
Adding insult to injury, one of the courses included in my $4,500 package was later offered as a Black Friday promotion for just $149.99, devaluing the original investment significantly. Comparable coaching platforms, such as Jackie Kravitz’s, provide more robust resources and consistent support for a fraction of the cost.
When I requested a refund or even course reactivation to revisit the material which was SHUT OFF, I was met with refusal and a dismissive tone. My additional follow-up questions about building a sustainable business in Aspen went unanswered, highlighting a lack of accountability and genuine concern for clients’ success.
While Vanda claims other clients in Aspen have succeeded using her program, no concrete examples or strategies were shared to substantiate these claims. This lack of transparency is particularly concerning given the premium pricing of her services.
I strongly advise real estate agents—especially those in niche or luxury markets—to approach this program with caution. The coaching did not live up to its promises, and the lack of tailored support and accountability has left me feeling exploited during a financially and emotionally difficult period in my career.
Real estate is already a challenging profession, and struggling agents deserve better than to have their trust and resources misused.
