Alan Blakely is a full-time architectural photographer based in Salt Lake City, Utah. Founded in 1992, Alan Blakely Architectural Photography creates advertising and editorial images for clients in the U.S. and abroad. Alan Blakely is the founder and director of both The Association of Independent Architectural Photographers (AIAP), and Real Estate Photographers of America & International (REPAI).

After working in tourism and taking photos underwater for nearly a decade, Samantha Ward (owner) decided to move back to her home state of Missouri and settle down. As there was no water to dive, she took her photography skills elsewhere, and the rest is history! It has become a very rewarding and fulfilling business helping people find and sell homes, and agents build careers and a service to their clients they are proud of!

A bit of history: Peaks View LLC was founded in 2001 while I was living in Lynchburg VA. The name Peaks View came from the city park that was located just down the road. In 2005, I returned to my native home of St Louis to pursue my photography business.

At the age of 13, my father gave me my first camera, a Minolta XG-7. Since that time photography for me has been a creative outlet and a way to share with others how I see the world. I decided to learn the technical skills for lighting interiors and then started my own photography business. My name is Kári (pronounced cow-rih but I am not super picky about it.) I am a Northwest Arkansas photographer specializing in portraits, commercial photography, and other happy gatherings. I am based out of Fayetteville but service Oklahoma, Missouri, Kansas, and more.

Born and raised in North Carolina, then moving to St Louis, I have been a photographer my entire career.

While in NC I learned the ropes as a photo-finisher, accepted a position at Wake Forest school of medicine as medical photographer, worked at a Los Angles based company that created one of the first online 3D shopping sites, where I was the manager of the digital studio. These experiences were extremely valuable, enabling me to hone my craft.

​In 2000, I moved to St. Louis where I went to Webster University for a BA in Media Communications and Photography. I started my own business photographing weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs, corporate portraits as well as numerous assignments for various commercial clients.

I’ve learned, grown and have been shaped by all my photography experiences.

​Now as an architectural photographer for real estate agents, this gives me the chance to work in an area of photography that I love. The technical aspects of photography; angles, lighting, design and beautiful architectural keep it exciting for me. Not to mention all the decorating ideas I file away for later usage.

In 2013, thanks to prodding from Chris, Jennifer decided to go for her Real Estate license. Little did they know, that one step would open doors and possibilities they had never expected. The first year of Real Estate did not go exactly as planned. Who knew people didn’t want to buy a house from a girl who looked 12 despite actually being 27? Luckily Jennifer had Chris to encourage her to stick it out, and every weekend she would go to do an Open House in an attempt to get a client. “My first year I literally only did two deals, and one was the house Chris and I purchased together!” -Jennifer Johnson. Despite the setbacks, Jennifer was starting to make connections and through those connections she was introduced to the amazing technology of Matterport 3D Camera’s. “I couldn’t believe what I was seeing! I knew there was nothing like this in Kansas City and I wanted to be the person to bring it here.” The problem was a Matterport 3D camera was 4,500 dollars and Jennifer and Chris just did not have the money. So they took every dime they received from their wedding and used it to purchase a camera. “From there it’s history.” -Chris Johnson

Using Drones to photograph property captures the entirety of the property as well as show the relationship of the property to the community it resides in. I got started in real estate drone photography when a real estate developer asked that I photograph some potential properties at different elevations so they could understand what views they would have from each one.
